Occupational Health Services | Blood Tests, Vaccinations & Workplace Screening

Occupational Health Services

Clinician-led occupational health support for employers, workers, and organisations.

Holden’s Chemist Express provides professional occupational health services designed to support
workplace safety, compliance, and staff wellbeing. Our services are delivered through established
community pharmacies, under clinical governance, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality,
and timely reporting.

We work with employers, agencies, contractors, and self-employed individuals who require
blood tests, vaccinations, health screening, or monitoring as part of their role.

Who our occupational health services are for

  • Employers arranging health checks for staff
  • Healthcare and care sector workers
  • Construction, logistics, and industrial workers
  • Education and childcare staff
  • Agency workers and contractors
  • Self-employed individuals needing workplace health evidence

We provide testing and screening services to support occupational requirements.
Employment decisions remain the responsibility of the employer.

We offer a range of blood tests commonly required for employment, placement,
or ongoing occupational monitoring.

Blood samples are taken in-pharmacy and sent to accredited laboratories for analysis.
Results are returned securely and shared according to agreed processes.

particularly in healthcare, care, and high-contact environments.

For roles where health monitoring is required, we offer diabetic testing and
ongoing monitoring support.

Health risk screening

Health risk screening can help identify potential issues early and support
workplace wellbeing initiatives.

  • BMI and weight assessment
  • Cholesterol testing
  • General cardiovascular risk indicators

Screening services are designed to support awareness and prevention,
